About Our Organization
Our Mission
Welcome to the Handel House Foundation of America! Our mission is to support the restoration, maintenance, and public engagement of Handel Hendrix House at 25 Brook Street in London. The museum celebrates the lives and music of two very different composers separated by 350 years and a single wall; George Frideric Handel and Jimi Hendrix. We are dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacies of Handel and Hendrix, two musical giants. In these houses Handel created "Messiah" and "Giulio Cesare" and Hendrix “Purple Haze.”
What We Do
Live Musical Performances: We raise funds to bring the music alive in the spaces in which it was created, rehearsed, and performed.
Education: We organize events, performances, and exhibitions to engage and inspire the public about the music and historical context of Handel and Hendrix.
U.S. Events: We organize concerts and lectures for donors and the public. Click here for more information.
